My grandson is a big kid, but is just able to reach the peddles. So, he hasn't been able to drive it around yet. we did have fun pushing him around while he steered! What I liked about it is you can pedal, coast without the pedals moving (like on a regular bike), reverse the pedals to stop and keep pedaling in reverse to go backwards.
