Only when I've had it on the charger did it ever stay on. - the capacity says it'll hold 14 keys but it barely holds the 6 I have on there, which the majority are small mailbox or locker keys that are thin - the part that the keys have to fit through is somewhat big and only fits certain keys - there isn't a nub that keeps the keys from swinging around, like other key organizers I've had - the securing screw is a Goldilocks of a process. Too tight results in not being able to pull keys out, too loose makes it fall apart. Why isn't there a locking mechanism that keeps it secure?
