They’re really tough to sharpen, but if you ever get it there, they will hold an edge for a while. I can also attest to how tough these are as I’ve put these through hell. I have used them from everything from a chisel to a screwdriver. I’ve made a spear out of one. I accidentally put one in a fire barrel and it stayed in there for three or four days when I finally did get it out of there. it was black, but sanded out beautifully.
