A: The difference between A and B is that the 4 frequency points are different. If only one system needs to be used, choosing either A or B has no effect. But if you need 2 systems to use together, you need to choose one A and one B. Because the same frequency points will interfere with each other.

There's no disputing these are very basic and very cheaply made. But cut to the chase......we all want a mic to work with sufficient gain to be low-noise, that is to say 'usable'. These do. I bought them in a pinch, not having the requisite dollars to replace the failed "Better Brand", but honestly, these will stay in the rack for as long as they live. I'll never produce an $800/seat rock show, but for weddings and the like in various places, these really are more than sufficient. Battery life is as good as the 'Better" when running 3500mWh rechargeables.
