**Q: Can it cut 1/8" thick acrylic?**
A: Yes. You'll have to make 6 to 8 scores. You need to cut about halfway through. Put it on the edge of a table top and snap it.

**Q: will this cut .06" thick abs plastic, and can it be used to make curved and/or fine detail cuts?**
A: I have used it to score and break acrylic plastic (not abs) that is thicker.  I've only used for scoring straight lines.  I don't think it can do detailed cuts.

**Q: Could this be used to score shapes like curved and a circle in the middle???**
A: No. Straight cuts only.., possibly a very, very slight curve.

**Q: Can this be used to cut polycarbonate twinwall?**
A: I bought to cut plexiglass. Didn't do a good job

I have a feeling that the people giving this low marks don't know how to use it properly or didn't read the instructions on the package. When used as directed, it's great. It worked perfectly for me to cut a few smaller pieces out of a sheet of Plexiglass. It seems well made and has a good weight in the hand (that's what she said!).Just remember, this is not a CUTTING tool. It will not and is not supposed to cut through the plastic. Its purpose is to create a very sharp and accurate scribe mark on the plastic so that when you bend along the scribe it will cleanly snap off. And you will need to make several passes to get it deep enough. So just do what it says in the instructions and you shouldn't have any issues at all.

Ordered myself a Matte Box For my Mirrorless Camera, and needed filters.Only found super expensive or very low priced sets made of PMMA.The PMMA filters were also larger than what my matte box would support.Idea! Find a tool to cut them down. Well it worked.See photos from when I fitted the filters after cutting.Also took a small Dremel and ground down the edges.This worked out perfectly for my small project, well worth the cost of the tool.Overall the tool fits good in the hand.Even has a small hole in the top of the handle for you to hang on a hook.Hope this was helpful.

I recommend clamping plexiglass down and use a long straight edge to cut straight. Also, if you’re rounding the edges and/ or corners, use a Dremel with a diamond tip cutting circle. Good luck….
