Perfect size for if you don’t have loads of desk space and want to do little projects! You get a small mat with the machine and there is a longer one available for purchase separately. You just cut your material to size and place on the sticky side of the mat. The advantage of the special materials is that you can make slightly wider designs and much much longer ones too. They have their own range of pens (I have some of the glitter gel pens and they are really lovely) but it is actually possible to use a whole load more pens with a bit of fiddling to make sure the tip is at the correct height. I have used the bullet tip on Tombow brush pens just fine. The one thing that I would recommend getting is the card mat. It allows you to attach a pre-folded card and keeps the back protected so that the design is cut only on the front. **Q: Can you make sticker sheets with this?** A: Yes, the Cricut has a sticker kiss cut feature, you would need to ensure you have the correct paper for stickers. **Q: Is it worth the investment to start a small business? You can access Cricut design space where there are hundreds of thousands of projects to work on. I started with some mothers Day cards and a wedding invite.
