The only two things that annoyed me is after a week or two the stars would not stay closed (Velcro didn’t stick) but should I need it again I will just replace the straps with something else, and the lock dial would pop free with only a little resistance. I’m sure that was because I was still quite active while wearing it and put a lot of stress on it. The lock/stop for extension was the only one that started to fail, the other remained sturdy. Added bonus, my husband called me C-3PO and told me I should spray paint it gold /laugh. I got a lot of positive comments about my cool bionic arm, though! The locks are holding in place and I'm much happier being able to move my shoulder and use my hand. Most ROM braces have very mixed reviews. I'm glad I took a chance on this one. I get it set to perfect control then while walking around it suddenly slips and allows my elbow too much movement which is very painful. The idea is great but the execution is lacking.
