I fell off a scooter about 2.5 years ago and unfortunately I landed on my right elbow. I knew right away that something was wrong with it. Turns out I had a small fracture in my radial head. It eventually healed but that accident was when I realized that I needed elbow pads for when riding a scooter. The next day I ordered these pads on desertcart and I won't rise without them. These pads are fantastic. They're not that expensive but they're very effective. They fit well and they have a hard shell on the outside right over the elbow. That hard shell is primarily what will protect your elbow from being injured if you have a bad fall. I've had 3 falls on my scooter since getting these elbow pads and didn't even get a scrape from any of them while wearing these pads. Obviously you never want to fall, but if you do, these pads WILL protect (and save) your elbow. I've had the same pair for over 2.5 years at this point and they work great. They don't wear down or anything. Highly recommend. Honestly, I think these pads are better than some of the more expensive elbow pads. Sometimes basic pads are better than more "sophisticated pads".
