I plugged it in, loaded Garageband and was working instantly. **Q: Might be a dumb question but can this be connected via mid cable? All i see is usb port on picture** A: It does not have the old school 5 pin DIN midi ports but the USB port is USB midi and works the same as the 5 pins. Actually better because you don't need a midi interface and it uses one cable instead of 2. It can also power your midi controller via USB, assuming your midi device supports that. I was skeptical moving from. 5 pin midi to USB midi but now that I have I no longer use the 5 pin cables if possible. **Q: Does it work with fl studio** A: Worked fine with FL Studio 12.x **Q: Is it compatable with fl studio** A: Yes, it does work with FL studios.
