Would I be able to keep any extra for next year?** A: I use it to rehydrate my dry yeast. I have had good luck with using it 3 months after opening but I mix it in 170 Fahrenheit degree water and Toss the yeast in when it drops to about 100degrees. As long as you pasteurize it for about 20min with 160-170 Fahrenheit degree water then I think it should be fine for quite a while. Perhaps even a year. **Q: What is the expiration date for this product (if I buy in June 2019)?** A: As long as you keep it dry, it lasts for at least a year. Probably longer but I try to buy in quantities that I know I will not be sitting around for much longer than that. **Q: Is it ok to mix go-ferm into rehydration water, then boil, then cool to ~100Β°, then add yeast? can't imagine but any damage from boiling?** A: I have only used the Go-Ferm In ciders and meads: no boil fermentations, but I think it would be OK in short boil. **Q: Can I use this product for bread yeast?** A: You shouldn't need this for bread. Dough environment is pretty benighn.
