I finally found the Connaisseur Rocklin 8-12 cup filters (here on Amazon) and they are fantastic. Not a single spill over in a year. **Q: A 2nd question...do I need to heat up the carafe prior to brewing. W/The Bonavita that was required in order to have hot coffee.** A: It helps just a few degrees. We used to think it made a larger difference but it's not huge. If your house gets cold overnight the carafe will too so a rinse with hot tap water is good to do.
