Color is perfect and the cover has plastic film that protects from scratches. Peeled off, the finish is just perfect.This Amazon seller/manufacturer sets the bar.See before and after pictures. My install was unique that the bottom section of lines is 5 inches or so, top closer to 8. I was able to widen the 6x6 top piece to fit the application pretty easily. For the top cap I modified the 2 provided caps into one to fit the unique shape ( 6 inch outside, 8 against the house).$$ well spent, such a huge improvement.
