He is concerned he will get hurt and gets anxious and physically stops him from doing things. I brought this book to help him be just himself and not over worry and over think himself about others whilst forgetting himself. I get his concern for others is good but my little is overly concerned that even his cousin parents get annoyed and bothered and say a few things to him that really upsets me and instead of thanking him for showing concern and telling him it’s ok we are here they say words that upset me and it bothers me that those words might affect his future hence why I brought this book to free him from constantly worrying. I love and feel blessed that he cares about others, it is a characteristic that not many kids have! This book has been a lovely way for us to explore those feelings and find ways for him to calm his worries. The artwork is super cute and adorable, the writing is lovely, and it's not hugely long which makes it a pleasure to read at bedtime. His younger brother is dinosaur mad, which means this is a double win for story time. We also have another book in the series, which deals with angry feelings (I forget the exact name, 'Stompysaurus' or something).
