## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are these supposed to fit so tight I have to really pound them on ?**
A: if using pressure treated wood they will be very tight, I used bare cedar and there was a few I had to pound in.

**Q: can these be used with aluminum posts?**
A: They come with wood screws so you'd need to get some that would work for aluminum. Other than that, I don't see why not. Drill pilot holes first and use the right screws.

**Q: How wide are the brackets?  Im looking to put two side by side.**
A: One bracket supports a 2x4 stud which is 1.5x3.5 inches.

**Q: will these work with composite post sleeves??**
A: Yes, but a pilot hole will most luckily need to be drilled to not damage the sleeve and prepare the post under the sleeve.
