I do have some issues with it, though.There are only three sets of models female/male, female/female and male/male. All of the models are white. I would really like to see more models and greater diversity.One of the male/male models is really not appropriate, imo. He's oddly proportioned with unusually broad shoulders, a small head and tree-trunk thighs. He's really hairy, obscuring the body lines. He's covered in really unfortunate blemishes, including what appears to be a huge hickey on his chest. He has a really flabby body with very little muscle definition. In some poses where his body is twisted there are fat rolls which upset the line of his body. He just is not at all appropriate as an art model. His partner in the poses, on the other hand, is perfect. It's too bad these poses lose some of their usefulness because of this because the poses themselves are actually good.Despite these flaws it is still a valuable resource for artists. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book *by S***A on Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2012* This was the first art model book I've ever purchased for my classes. I'm not a professional photographer or anything like that, so I can't give you a bunch of technical information on the photos. But in my opinion they were high quality with a nice variety of poses (ranging from normal acting to dramatic acting) for each couple. The lighting/shadowing isn't as bright or dynamic as other art model books I purchased afterwards but the muscles are well-defined and the completely white background keeps your attention squarely on the figures - every part of the models' bodies are clearly visible and easy to redraw from the different angles available. It would have been nice to see other body types for reference, but this book provides great practice for beginners in life drawing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Virtual Poser, Pricey but Worth it! *by M***Z on Reviewed in the United States on June 22, 2008* Though I do wish these series provided more content [most Virtual Poser books and DVDs only have under about 12 poses], I have to say that the quality of the images, the books, the DVD and the models are great. I would buy the entire series.
