Review: Got these on sale from Creative Audio A++++ - I had been at these speakers for a while. I have always been impressed with the Reference series Kenwood item. When Creative Audio put them on sale, I bit the bullet and got them. They sound great, and I'm glad I got them. A great addition to a custom sound system. I am running a Zapco Amp with these so I am not sure what they would do without an Amp.

**Q: How do u run these at 2ohms on the xr 401-4?**
A: You don't. They run at 3ohms. The amp can handle between 2-4ohms. I have these in my car with the same amp and it sounds fantastic

**Q: If i run 2 pairs of these with kenwood xr 401 4 channel is these at 3ohm going to screw anything up with the amp at 2 ohms?**
A: No, because it works between 2 and 4 ohms. I have that exact set-up in my 350Z and it sounds fantastic.

**Q: Do they last long or burn out fast?**
A: So far so good with mine I've only had it 6 months though. I'm satisfied completely so far

**Q: Also, im running xr1000-1 with 2 excelon 12s...will 2 pairs of these w/400-4 screw up ohms for all involved? Getting lost in the impedance**
A: I turned my truck key on and everything comes on and works sorry I couldn't help you any more than that buddy

Great speakers! I have 2 pairs of them in my 350Z Roadster and they sound fantastic! I'm driving them with a Kenwood Excelon Reference amp coming from a Excelon Reference head unit, and the clarity is amazing. No distortion, no noise, no hiss, just crisp, clear sound.
