Highly recommended. ### ⭐ Initial Quality OK, But We'll See..... *by K***. on January 22, 2024* Today, 02/10/2024, I am downgrading my original rating of 3 out of 5 stars down to 1 out of 5. Aside from the design flaws I wrote about previously (below), I've come to notice that aside from having to use my old wireless controller to remotely turn on my PS4 (which defeats the purpose of buying a new controller in the first place), I also must reboot the PS4 a second time using the home button once I get tho the sign on screen. Otherwise this Prodico controller will not work at all. This is straight garbage! Today I received my Prodico PS4 Wired Controller for Playstation 4, and right away I tested all of the buttons and they seem to work. The only gripe I have however, is that the controller's home button will NOT allow me to power up/power on the console. This is flabbergasting considering it is wired and should wake the console up the same way a keyboard or mouse on a computer will bring the device out of sleep mode when activity is detected. Were it not for this serious design flaw, I would have given this controller a 5-star rating. However, as-is, the controller is adequate as a quick replacement for the Bluetooth controllers which are notorious for having its USB-charging port malfunction and become difficult to accept a charge. Other reviewers have indicated this controller is prone to breaking after a few months. I will be sure to update this review should anything go wrong unexpectedly.
