There are marked spots on the bottom to drill more drainage holes, but it only came with three pre-cut out. I’m sure it wouldn’t be as much of a problem outdoors but it isn’t enough for indoor plants. Overall a good planter, just inconvenient to have to cut out the rest of the holes.
