Having applied them directly onto tile backing board using a grip adhesive, they look fantastic. Make sure you check the pattern orientation to either match the tiles or mix it up a bit. I used a multi tool to cut to size ensuring I had a level piece of wood baton to use as a guide. As the surface is raised, it can be awkward to keep a straight line. Measure twice, cut once. These always get lots of positive comments and feedback.
