I have measured takeoffs with it during the Covid19 boom in house construction so its seen 1000's of plans for single family homes, and multi unit condo blocks.A co worker has an earlier model that's average 15 years old. He's only had to 1 time replace the wheel.I have not had to do a wheel replacement, but if I do need to there is a replacement kit you can purchase.Highly recommend this tool. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great tool for estimating *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 1 May 2020* I've been in construction for over 20 years and was sceptical when a colleague mentioned this product. But having used it for over a year now, I think it's amazing. When you have a quick job to price, this makes the take offs so easy and quick, you wonder how you managed before. I still use a trusty scale ruler for some things, but this little tool does most of the work. The ability to set your own scale takes all the problems out of odd scaled drawings or drawings printed the wrong size. As long as you know one dimension, you can measure the rest. I wouldn't recommend it for accurate works, but for tender quantities it is brilliant.
