The book itself seems pretty decent. This cheap Indian edition, however, is not very good. The pages are super thin and the text is too close to the inner margin.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ INDIA EDITION

Without saying the obvious this book is essential reading for all students studying the solid state : particularly metals. The point i wish to communicate is simply to be aware that the Indian Edition of this book has been printed with an exceedingly small margin: Which means that the text can appear to curve into the spine of the book while reading. Bending the pages on the left hand side down sorts this out but its a bit annoying. Otherwise the Indian Edition is fine and i would recommend it.
