We placed it over the shoe bench so folk scan come in and take their coat off and put their shoes on and vice versa. We have a bench that is about 42 inches long, and so this unit sits above it and is the perfect size so that it looks like they go together! Well made, easy to install, easy directions, and is exactly as is pictured. CONS: I always want there to be one extra set of screws and anchors - if you want to move this once or if your wife doesn't like where you put it - help a brother out and make it easy on us. No stars removed for the unit. One star removed for the wife, maybe, shhhh don't tell her I said that. I gotta move this up 6 inches higher as it sits too low just like she said it would.
