Especially to Asian. Did you have to pay extra fee?** A: The bag failed at Delta check-in. $200.00 up charge to go to Japan from USA. This bag is too big for checked baggage without a fee. Really disappointing as the wheels are what push it over the edge into “oversized” Waste of money as I can’t use it without being prepared to pay extra. Can’t believe they advertise as being “checked baggage “ without clarifying you have to pay extra. **Q: Would you recommend this set, has it held up well to general airline abuse?** A: I have had this set of spinners for 2 1/2 years, in its time it has been to over 30 countries, hundreds of flights, living out of these suitcases for approx 3-4 months a year and the 20” carry on handle just broke the other day after a 3 week trip. - It’s the bag I use the most frequently and I’d say that is one hell of a run. I’m back here to buy another 20” spinner to replace mine because its track record with me personally speaks for itself. I will say that I hope the handle on this spinner is more ridged - Just my two cents on a topic I know better than most anyone. **Q: how much does each case weigh when empty?** A: Product description lists 28” at 11.68lbs, not 10.35lbs. **Q: What is the difference between 20 and One Size selection?** A: It means that for the 20 inch case shown on this page there is only one size.
