Lock release parts do not align. Jerky movement up and down. Dangerous for me as it does not move me all the way up into a standing position. Defects aside, I'd have to return it anyway, but it should be great for most intended users if made corectly with better assembly instructions. I just called the manufacturer to describe my problems. They are shipping me a replacement unit. The first one came in 1 day delivery which was fantastic. Meanwhile, as I think about this more, I may solve some of the danger problem by raising the legs and or adjusting the weight setting. With a properly functional unit, my problems may disappear. I'll post my results.
