## Description

Yuasa AGM batteries are Maintenance Free, with no need to add water, but periodic charging required when not in use. Advanced lead-calcium technology – holds its specific gravity more than 3 times longer than conventional lead antimony batteries. Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) separators absorb electrolyte making the battery nonspillable, the valve regulated design eliminates water loss and the need for refilling. Bottle Supplied (BS) – dry AGM batteries are shipped with the electrolyte stored in a plastic container and the battery is filled with electrolyte from the container by the end user when it’s ready to be activated. Review: Worked great on Kawasaki Vulcan and Suzuki C90T - I just bought two of these. They arrived in a taped Yuasa box and both looked to be in name condition. I followed the instructions for filling them with the acid, letting them sit to absorb the acid, the capping them off and charged them for 24 hours with a Noco Genius 1 charger. I then tested them with my Cancel battery charger and they each tested at 100% capacity with more CCA than advertised. Yuasa makes a great battery that if well maintained will last for 4+ years. Fit perfectly in my Kawasaki Vulcan Vaquero and also saved $50 by using it in my Suzuki C90T. Technically, the C90T uses a YTX16-BS-1, but that just meant that the posts are rotated which made installation a bit trickier. I had to use a small ratchet instead of a screwdriver to attach the leads. Positive first and the ground. This was a great deal too! Both bikes started ride up, and I couldn't be happier with these OEM batteries.
Review: Works well, seems quality. - Have had it about 5 month and no issues. The many of the other ones just wouldn't crank over the 1800CC and this has no problem. Ships with acid separate so it is fresh. Make sure you charge it for 8 hours at least to initialize it. I think I went for 12-15 on my charger. I used to sell batteries to power plants and cell towers and can attest to how critical it is to give it a long, slow, full charge at the start. If you don't, you'll get half the life.

**Q: I am questioning the dimensions of 9.5x7x6.5 that you have listed. according to the factory specs, the dimensions of a ytx16-bs are: 6x3.4375x6.375**
A: Please use the factory specs given by Yuasa, as the specs listed on Amazon are not usually accurate. The specs on this battery are 6x3.43x6.375.

**Q: Is this an authentic yuasa ytx16-bs? the label does not match what yuasa's website shows.**
A: Absolutely a genuine Yuasa battery.. Labels change all of the time, may be a photo of an old label, maybe a new one.  Even different vendors of the same battery may have a different label (OEM Honda is a Yuasa)

**Q: How long is the warranty on this product?**
A: My research found 3 yrs.

A: It appears the sellers on this ad are not responding to your question. We are not listed as a seller on this particular one but we do offer the same product.
It is a Yuasa battery. They have some made in Taiwan as well. I checked with Yuasa and this one is from Taiwan and if you want to get it from us you can go to our website and where it says "what are you looking for" type in ytx16-bs.

I just bought two of these. They arrived in a taped Yuasa box and both looked to be in name condition. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great high quality battery

Battery fit perfectly in my 01 Vulcan Nomad. The process of filling the battery is very simple, but I would do it outside or at least have ventilation. After the filling I let the battery sit for about 3hrs. Then I put the taper cover on and let the battery sit on a trickle charger over night. The next morning after installing the battery, I turned the bike on and could not be more happy. The bike practically jump it was suck a strong crank. I will do my best to come back on here after the season is over and give an update. 3/14/16
