You don't have to use tip. Just squirt into container and mix it with stick or nail. **Q: can you paint over this? or apply gel coat?** A: Yes, you can fair it, gel coat, barrier coat and anti fouling. It’s just epoxy, but a bit flexible. **Q: What COLOR is this product?** A: i believe its a clear honey color **Q: Will this stick to textured soft vinyl?** A: “Will it stick” is a very hard question to answer. The answer I’m sure is “yes” BUT the real question is “Will it hold”. I would hesitate to use this product for application with vinyl. I don’t know your specific goal, but I was thinking maybe wood to vinyl. If so, I wouldn’t think twice about a good 5min epoxy that clearly specifys “wood” and “vinyl” as applications. This product works incredible for wood applications, but I can’t swear to it for vinyl. My best guess it that the chemical properties aren’t flexible enough for vinyl and it would crack.
