This is the second one I bought the same. I bike pretty constantly 5 thousand Km per year and the last one lasted 2 years until it crumbled. 10 thousand K is not bad for using my bike rain and shine, summer and winter and leaving the bike outside all the time. Bracket replacement can be a bit tricky the first time. One needs the right tools. I can do it now in a hour: remove the pedal arms also with a special tool, then remove the old bracket with the tool tightly attached (using a washer), then remove the old bracket.
