Good battery life - This arrived quickly but it was clear this wasn't a 'new' item. The box had previously been opened and the item looked 'used'. All the accessories were intact and still wrapped - but it looked like an ex-display model. Worse still it wouldn't switch on or charge up. Requested a replacement immediately! That's the bad bit over ......... The replacement arrived and was perfect! Everything looked as you would expect it to. It was unlocked to all networks (checked with O2 & EE) Inserted a sim and switched on - a few seconds later and I was able to connect my laptop to the internet using this device. That done I changed a few of the default settings using the Android App - all quite straightforward. We used this at a remote campsite in Wales. O2 Signal strength varied but it kept a decent connection available for phones and laptop internet access. I purchased this model partly because of the longer battery life, I can't comment on how long it lasts until it runs out ..... but a good few hours 'off-charge' and the battery was still well above 50%. Build quality seems good. Nice and solid and an easy to read front screen. I purchased a protective shell cover for it as we'll be using it on campsites and on hikes in remote areas Despite the poor condition of the first one that was supplied, I can't fault the functionality of the replacement item, very happy with it and based on that the product gets 5-Stars.
