Review: Terrific bag, thoughtful design. - In a past life I was a bag designer and product manager for a fairly well known line, so I'm pretty picky. This is my first DAKINE bag and it exceeds all expectations. Great layout of pockets and compartments, excellent materials, outstanding sewing. Currently traveling with the bag and it's a pleasure to move through airports and train stations with. A great value as it feels like a more expensive bag. Would absolutely recommend, and plan to buy the carry-on size when I return home.

The bag is a good size for a week long trip. Definitely not carry on size. I love the two compartments makes it easy to keep folded clothes neat but still have the capacity of a duffle. The wheels roll smoothly and the handle seems pretty sturdy. Have only done one trip so I can’t speak to the durability yet.
