After assembling the Rotary Roller, which took 20-30min and wasn't difficult, I set it up on the laser work space, loaded a file, enabled the roller in the LightBurn software and started the engraving... the image was a bunch of squiggly lines. After trying a few different settings I opened a help ticket with Ortur Tech support (about 8pm). In less than an hour I had a reply and easy fix: The red & Black wires had to be swapped on the connector to work with my laser. I have been playing with it since and it works very well. Smooth, accurate images are produced on round objects. In fact, you do not need to use the Y roller. You can try to engrave directly with ORTUR Laser Master 2. **Q: will this work if one end is larger than the other? (like a pint glass)** A: It can be carved. **Q: Does anyone know the steps per revolution for this unit so that I can set it up in Lightburn?** A: It depends on diameter of the rollers. UPDATED REVIEW *by S***R on November 11, 2024* UPDATE: customer service reached out and offered a full refund for the issue. Great experience!! I bought this product over the summer and didn't set it up for use until the middle of November. When I set it up, the motor which turns the belt does not turn it. The motor vibrates and heats up, trying to work, but doesn't.
