You don't put it on the thread, it goes on the flair. It's not like lock tite it's a flair tight. I'm a diu girl and this is great stuff. I used it a year ago and I still have great ac. Before using it I could not hold a vacuum on my system. **Q: Will this work with propane gas lines** A: Having not used it, can't say 100%. But since R290 is purified propane, and this says it's for all refrigerants, I don't see why not. Though there may be additives in propane meant for heating that could possibly interact with it. Certainly propane for heating is not as pure as the refrigeration stuff. As someone else mentioned, asking the manufacturer is probably a good idea before trying. **Q: can this be used to seal service valve caps?** A: I don't believe I would use it for that purpose. If it gets into the valve it would probably keep the valve from working properly. I generally use brass caps with o-rings to seal service valve ports. **Q: Would NYLOG blue seal a slow rim leak in a tubeless tire?** A: I would think so.....but an expensive way to seal a tire....cleaning the rim bead with a wire wheel should do it. ## Frequently Bought Together - Refrigeration Technologies RT201B Nylog Gasket/Thread Sealant, 30 ml (1 Pack) - DuctlessAire Outdoor Wall Bracket - Mini Split Wall Mounting Bracket - Air Conditioner Support Brackets - Mounted Brackets for Ductless Mini Split, Heater, Window AC Unit & More (9000-36000 BTU) - R410a Adapter for Mini Split System, Charging Vacuum Port Adapter, 5/16 Female 1/4 Male Flare, Valve Core Remover, r134a Hose Gaskets, 5V1 Valve Cores, for HVAC and Refrigeration Service --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/215967504-refrigeration-technologies-rt201b-nylog-gasket-thread-sealant-blue](https://www.desertcart.at/products/215967504-refrigeration-technologies-rt201b-nylog-gasket-thread-sealant-blue) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-11-08*
