The first was cheaper and had a less dense piping layout. My A/C would blow warm every time I stopped moving. I have not had that problem with this condenser. Very well made and much more surface area for cooling. Mounted right up with no compatibility issues. Lines threaded on fine with no leaks. I do have to mention, there was an expansion tube in the lower line. I had to remove it as I already have an expansion tube in a different area. Just FYI.
