You slide your image into the punch window, center it, press the epoxy square on top of your image, close lid, and punch! I can now create/design all of my own embellishments to go with my journaling or mixed media. Plus, making charms from pics of my granddaughters is awesome! The punch tool also comes in so many shapes, which I hope to eventually purchase one day. I totally recommend this product! Hope this helps! Oh! I read that the epoxy doesn't yellow over time. And another plus is not having to deal with messy resins; it's already done for you. And, my images came out crystal clear. To give idea of size, that's a pencil eraser. Sorry, didn't have a ruler handy. Review: Adhesive Issues - I've used this product before because of its quality and durability. However, I was completely let down to see the end result after completing my project. All 48 pendants/pins that were made for a funeral were ruined. The adhesive was not staying on the square when it was transferred from the packaging to the picture. Once on the picture, the adhesive bubbled up and the picture looked distorted. I've made these before it they've turned out great. I'm sad to report that this was not the case with the latest ones I made. There was something wrong with the adhesive. I'm not sure if it wasn't placed on correctly, if the type of adhesive was changed or if the product was exposed to high/low storing temperatures.
