Went to go put it in, it would not fit in the hole. Had to modify the switch and hole. Then once I got it to slide in, it would not seat all the way to connect to the prongs in the back. Had to modify again and got it to fit. It sits nice and flush now. Turned on the key and the LED to indicate that the AC on or off is on all the time. It is either bright or dim not on or off like it should be. Now that it is in, I cant get it out without damaging it for return. The switch will function to turn on and off the AC but the LED wont function as intended. ### ⭐⭐ Too tight of a fit *by T***G on Reviewed in the United States on May 22, 2020* The part is not made to OE dimensions. The outside dimension (width x height) are slightly larger than they should be. I had to push the switch into the dash with more force than should be necessary to get the switch all the way into the seated position. I don't know how I will remove the switch the next time I want to take my dash apart.The fitment being poor is why it gets 2 stars. the switch works fine otherwise. ### ⭐⭐⭐ This switch is very easy to install and the button seems fairly sturdy *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 22, 2016* I bought this switch because the A/C button on the front of my switch starting falling out of my 1998 Toyota Tacoma. This switch is very easy to install and the button seems fairly sturdy. However, the switch DOES NOT FIT A 1998 TOYOTA TACOMA. It appears to be the same size as the existing switch, however the electrical prongs on the inside are longer, preventing the switch from being plugged in all the way.
