Does anyone know?** A: current answers are only partly true if you cannot add a second power line to power anything under 40v (including 12v) you can get devices that simply "breakout" and then DC-DC convert the POE power this is often found in 5/12v for stuff like a non-POE access point/switch and a raspberry pi usb port at 5v3a with the native micro or usb-c I am not sure if they actively ask for POE or are passive so mileage may vary but assuming they are proper POE spec any real POE/+/++ should accept any active converter that plays nicely within spec which SHOULDd be all Power consuming POE devices as the spec is very simple for basic POE using only a few transistors and resistors to signal what the device wants **Q: Can this be used in an attic as it gets quite warm in the summer months?** A: Dear customer,The maximum recommended operating temperature is about 104F, and higher temperatures can shorten lifespan or cause other issues - as a result, we typically do not recommend putting injectors or switches in attics unless they are ventilated to avoid such higher temperatures.Thank you,TaylorPoE Depot **Q: Does this device negotiate with poe camera? is it active or passive injector?** A: This unit will add power to your device.
