I sometimes struggle with food texture, so I love using this to blend out soups or sauces that are vegetable-heavy. It's also very useful for hot chocolate and even protein shakes. It's very easy to clean, too, so long as you clean it immediately after use; just fill a cup with soapy water, press the power button for a few seconds, and it's squeaky clean. Dried food would probably be harder to clean off of it though. I have only had it for a few months so I cannot speak to its longevity, but so far I have had no issues. It's very easy to use, as well. There is only one button to push. When you push the button, it spins. The amount of pressure you put on the button determines blend speed.
