Review: A great little extension with massive grip - Pros Cheaper options to a full arm Attaches easy to the full Elgato arm Attaches to other none-Elgato arms Decent clap Massive grip Decent quality Cons Thin rubber on clamp I have all of the Elghato arms and I have wanted to add more arm extension to it and now I can with this bad boy. I'm using this to mount my webcam, DSLR and mic. It's compatible with all of the other ball joints you get with the Elgato flex arm which is good. The clamp is very strong and holds the extension perfectly horizontal. The rubber inside the clamp is a bit thin for my liking but it does help to maintain a perfectly horizontal line, I just hope it wears well. A great addition to my elghato arm collection.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the max weight can it hold?**
A: The max payload for the arm is 2 kg / 4,5 lbs

**Q: Can i remove the ball head from the end of the solid arm and attach the elgato flex arm instead?**
A: Yes you can. The ball head is the add & remove mechanism elgato has chosen. But watch out for sagging if you intend to extend it longer than the various ways advertised. If you extend it too long it just won't cope even though it's solid.

For example, I wanted a key light overhead on extended mix of flex/solid arm/multi mount but it couldn't take the weight. However, it took the weight of a key light air with a bit of sagging that's with a technique on the ball head otherwise it just kept drooping down.

Hope that helps

**Q: Is there a ball head with the flex arm?**
A: Yes, this comes with the ball head mount.

**Q: Is there a ball head with the flex arm?"**
A: The Flex Arm comes with a ball head mount.
