This immediately paid off on my first project troubleshooting a battery powered radio that wouldn't power on. The battery pack tested good at the contacts, but the radio wouldn't power on. Connecting the radio to the power supply worked to power the radio. Even though the battery was good the contacts were faulty. Likes: Good solid power supply for lots of bench tasks Convenient & simple current limiting adjustments (to avoid melting stuff) Great versatility Large clear display Good supply leads Looks nice on the bench Dislikes: Output is about .07 Volts higher (@12v) than built in meter shows (wish there was an adjustment) Voltage output changes are delayed so the meter catches up after you are done turning the knob.
