The sound quality was good too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ An OK set for a good price *by S***G on Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2013* I wanted a cheap headset that would work with Xbox 360 and PS3. I tried these for a couple of hours and they were pretty comfortable. I like the unique headband. Sort of an Aeron chair for the head. The headset is very light, without feeling very fragile.I haven't had a chance to test the chat functioning. When switched to Xbox, there is a detachable 2.5mm cord that plugs into the controller. When switched to PS3, the chat should be routed through the USB.The amplifier isn't very loud. I could hear everything, but it had to be turned almost all the way up. I don't want to make my ears bleed, but a little more power would've been preferable.The amplifier/control box is hardwired. The problem is that these won't work as passive headphones. Hooked up to a stereo headphone jack, almost none of the sound came through. Being able to unplug from the box would have made these more versatile. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Cheap Headset *by M***O on Reviewed in the United States on August 25, 2013* Pros: Cheap, reliable headset so far. Sound is good and is comparable to turtle beaches. I wouldn't say better nor worse.The switches are stiff which is good. Unlike turtle beaches when they rub against something they change the volume.The ear cuffs are huge and comfortable. The headset at its smallest notch is already big, so big head friendly.Cons: Not really a con but the mic can only be on the right side while I am used to it being on the left.Mic sensitivity isn't that great. I sound " a tad soft" sometimes and cutoff.
