The spray pattern is a misting pattern which, doesn't shoot over the roof to hit the vehicle behind you. It took me 5 minutes to install. It also comes with a tiny little key to adjust spray.

Fit my 2012 Jeep GC perfect. So far happy with washer nozzle. I bought it as the sprayer is metal, and auto stores sell nozzles with cheap plastic nozzles for 40! Then they break within a year. Only had for a month now so hopefully they won’t break.
