Of course, it doesn't sound perfect, since I'm a beginner! The hammer fit well on the pegs. This can vary from piano to piano, though. The hammer was very sturdy and well-built. I made use of the temperament strip, which seemed a little short, but it covered the entire middle section of strings on my piano. The rubber mutes worked fine, but they did seem a little flimsy.
