Review: Very gradual color but works. - I was not sure about this tanning lotion but I gave it a solid try. First off, I have 2 mitts. One small one for my face and one large mitt for the rest of my body. I put some lotion on beforehand to make the process smoother. Out of the bottle, the smell was not overbearing..not a tanning smell per say, just like clay or dirt smell, BUT faint. And it will go away fast. It takes a coat or 2 to see light to medium results. I have fair skin and freckles, so one coat looked like I was out in the sun all day and got a tiny tan. 2 coats and it looked like I am tanning. The color is gradual, no streaks. But you might need to put more on the legs. Other tanning products, you can see results right away, but leaves residue on your hands. I did not find a lot of residue on my finger or hands afterwards. I would recommend this product if you have a weekend and some patience to get the right amount of color for your skin tone. But if you prefer a really dark tan, this might not be the right product for you. But I love that it doesn't stink, doesn't make me look orange and I don't have streaks. And my semi tan looks like Ive been out in the sun.
Review: I bought this when it was a Deal of the Day/ I would pay the extra $1; welcome to my TedTalk - (I am kidding/my review is super long.I’m sorry, and I hope you’re ready) I have a VERY olive complexion that gets very tan easily if I sunbathe. This isn’t quite as dramatic of an effect as a day at the beach, BUT it’s a really great substitute for a bunch of sun damage (I have hyperpigmentation AND acne scars, that are being treated; plus I’m over 35(I’m 36) *Disclaimer * I’ve already used multiple parentheses........ this is gonna be, well long ( like who writes their whole rout... nope not gonna do it again in the disclaimer too! So turn back now if you don’t care about how I use this* Its really easy to apply and I use it on my entire body; except my chest, face, and neck. (On those areas, I use a clear serum that gets mixed with my moisturizer by Tanologist.) The only downside is that for some reason, it dries out my skin (even though it’s marketed as a moisturizer.The audacity is palpable!). I just use my regular moisturizer in the mornings when I do this because I always use this product at night because the smell makes me want to cocoon away from everyone (it doesn’t smell great, but I deal with it). I don’t mind the smell too much, but it does make my fluffy, rainbow, tie dye, robe smell (not my pjs or my clothing the next day). I just spritz some body splash or perfume on my skin and I’m good to go. I work with kids, (they smell worse than me) and I’m always washing my hands or using sanitizer/rubbing alcohol. So it’s durability is impressive. It performs well against: mud, getting wet all the time (Those children smell worse than me because of it! And they don’t even know! dirty children......so dirty 🤦🏽‍♀️ 😪😷), and general life Showering daily (Mostly, if I’m being totally honest), shaving once a week (again when necessary), or even maybe 🤔, 2 times a week It lasts a few days (2-3). So, on the weeks that I am motivated and/or have an event, I use this at most 3 days in the week and I am very pleased with the results! I have tried several different methods, and several different brands; but this is so easy. It absorbs/dries in no time (2-3) minutes. Then, I just wash my hands, carefully getting a few key areas: fingers, palms, wrists and knuckles. I leave the majority of the top of my hand alone, put on my pjs and I’m done (It is the exact same amount of steps. I could care less about having dry skin to sleep. It impedes nothing that happens in beds.) I do to go to bed right away my sheets aren’t stained, And the price is great, (even at full price). The bottle is only half empty after a month and a half of regular use; twice a week for most weeks of the past month (3 times a week a few times throughout, when I had to for a special occasion, or something *wink *wink*, like that). It’s (basically) $14 to be tan for almost 3 months. That’s a good deal to me.

A: Use our application mitt to blend for an even, streak-free finish. As with all our self-tanners, you need to apply to well exfoliated, clean, dry skin free of moisturizers.

**Q: How long will my tan last?**
A: Our Liquid Gold range is our longest lasting tan. It lasts for approximately a week and fades evenly.

**Q: Does it have a color guide?**
A: The foam has a minor color guide that disappears once rubbed into the skin. The best way to apply is to stand in front of a mirror with good lighting so you can see where you are rubbing it in. Ensure that you are blending each area really well.

**Q: Do I have to shower after applying Liquid Gold Foam?**
A: Liquid Gold Foam requires no wash off! You can apply the foam, put clothes on and go about your day as normal with the tan developing over the next 6 - 8 hours.

**Q: What is the difference between Liquid Gold Self Tanning Dry-Oil and Liquid Gold Foam?**
A: The main difference is the consistency of the formulation. Our Dry-Oil can be sprayed directly to the skin or an application mitt. The Foam is a hydrating, light foam that you apply to an application mitt. Both products leave you looking bronzed!

I was not sure about this tanning lotion but I gave it a solid try. First off, I have 2 mitts. One small one for my face and one large mitt for the rest of my body. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Strange plastic smell, but leaves good color!

This product is almost perfect! I have fair skin and don’t tan naturally at all. I’m not trying to look tan, but wanted to feel better about my everyday skin tone. When it comes to color, this worked really well. After one nights use, I can tell I have a warmer tint to skin tone. I used it on my body and face too. I don’t see any streaks. I can see it being very buildable. BUT the smell is strange. I am a sensitive smeller. When I first smelt it out of the bottle I barely could smell a thing. I thought,” oh this isn’t bad at all!” But then as I used it, I found that it smelt like plastic. It became overwhelming at night as I tossed and turned in bed I could smell this strange, bathing in plastic smell. In the morning I had to change my pjs right away bc they had sucked up the smell. I think I am going to keep this product because I found the color to be natural and easy to use and hopefully I’ll just have to deal with the smell every once in a while since I won’t be using it every day.
