**Q: I make home made bread. Will it stay fresher for longer? Not sure with the vent holes. Thankyou**
A: I have noticed any significant increase in bread staying fresher any longer than my previous bin that had no air holes. Home made it shop purchased.

**Q: What are the dimensions of the bread box?**
A: 14.5 cm high, 38 cm long 25 cm wide

**Q: what the boottom part is made from? it is a plastic?**
A: It looks like plastic but my understanding is it is made from bamboo fibres. It is very light in weight.

I needed a LARGE bread bin and lots of other bins looked too small. The bin is roomy and the design is really lovely. It comes with a nice bamboo lid that you can use as a cutting board. Its size permits large and many breads and pastries. I will also check out the e-book with recipes for baking bread and pizzas.Great bread bin!

A nice bread bin, the cutting board lid is a great idea and very happy that I could upgrade my plastic bread bin to an eco one. The dark design is nice and understated in my kitchen.

This is a BIG ass bread bin. 38cm x 12cm (weighs approx 2.2kg, including bread board/lid!)Aesthetics/Looks: very pleasing to the eye. Bought one in black. Feels reassuringly heavy and looks real robust!The bread board itself is made from compressed bamboo and is nice and heavy. None of this lightweight, flimsy stuff. Appears to have been pre-treated with some sort of food safe oil. Happy days.I cannot emphasise how reassuringly heavy it is. You could do some proper damage with this if you decided to smack someone in the face with it.As bread bin or self defence item it scores 10/10!The bin itself is made from bamboo and a melamine resin which makes it pretty indestructable. Super easy to clean out and super strong: just don't chuck it in the dishwasher! no no.One of the reviews mentioned that the air-holes were too big. They aren't small but are not that big either. Some thought has gone into sizing them. It would have been good if they had all been drilled out in a straight line, as opposed to being on the wonky side (but hey, that might just be the one I got and it is just my OCD playing up)You could buy cheap and buy twice.Or get this.
