The threaded end of the Shaft for the Wen is slightly bigger than the Dremel...so sadly from personal experience, I know some attachments like the Chuck(4486) & Mini-Saw(670) attachments will not screw on properly and work with the Wen. :( **Q: will this fit on dremal brand drill press accessary? (Dremel 220-01 Rotary Tool Work Station ) thanks** A: My Wen 2305 (purchased in 2019) fits both physically, and the threading does match - pulled the assembly out of the box and checked with my tool as soon as it was delivered. My 2305 also phsically fits the cup; I'd already compared the size/shape to some of the Dremel tools listed as compatible. If anything has changed since 2019, this might not apply. If you can take the end-cap off your Wen tool and try fitting it on one of the listed Dremels, that should tell you if the threading matches. **Q: Does this unit include any dry wall cutting bit?** A: The bits cut dry wall but not included, and the TOOL adapters from Steel DO NOT FIT, no matter what he says this unit is in mm, steel fractions of inches they dont fit. The tool itself is great tho, I own 2. For over a year and it still buts exhaust, bolts and does very fine engraving on glass wood. I can't believe the price. Definitely a good value for the money and I would recommend it! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Must-have item for cosplay & propmaking *by K***K on February 20, 2020* Full disclosure, I'm not (usually) using this product for heavy duty home improvement tasks. Mostly I'm using it to carve into EVA foam, and occasionally things like wood, worbla, and PVC. But since rotary tools are frequently recommended items to cosplayers, here's your cosplayer review. tl;dr: Every cosplayer who wants to make their own costumes should have one of these. Pros: - The flex shaft. The flex shaft alone is worth it, because it means you don't need to hold or maneuver the whole unit, just the part at the end of the flex shaft. This makes it easier to achieve finer details, get into tighter spaces, and it means less muscle fatigue. I keep the motor unit in my lap while I'm working, though I would recommend hanging it on a hook nearby if you can because you won't want all the dust getting into the motor. - It comes with a ton of accessories with some limited novel uses, though I use the sanding drums 95% of the time. I do wish it came with a few more sanding drums, but you can buy more if you wear down all of yours. - I've also used it for home improvement things. It's one of those things you just don't know you need until you have a use for it and then you wonder what you would have done without it. One of my kitchen windows wouldn't close all the way and I sanded down some random bit that was sticking out of the frame and now my life is better. - Supposedly you can file your pet's nails with it too but I haven't tried getting it near my cat. I think the noise would scare her. Cons: - The first one I bought died on me after a year, but honestly for $20 if I had to replace it every year I still would. This might have been a result of me getting too much foam dust into the motor too, so I'm more careful about that now. The second one still works but it's nearing a year now so we'll see. This is what took a star away from a 5-star review for me because I still love the product but I don't love when it breaks during con crunch. - Most of the accessories probably won't get used, but you might find some uses for them. I've seen other cosplayers/propmakers use the pink stone attachments to achieve neat effects like hammered metal textures, but for the most part they're not gritty enough to actually carve into the foam, just kind of dent it. Still more of a pro than a con overall because they're included for $20, but please temper your expectations about them accordingly. - I HAVE had one or two of those discs shatter and fly across the room before so please always be sure to wear protective clothing and workshop safety goggles when using this!! And ALWAYS wear a dust mask when sanding EVA foam, wood, or really anything that's going to cause a large amount of small particles you don't want in your lungs. Other notes: - I usually have the power setting around 2–3, maybe 3–4. I have never tried turning it all the way up. I think I had it up to like 6-ish when I sanded that hard plastic piece jutting out of my window frame and some baseboard moulding in my living room. 10 might launch you into space, I have no idea. - I'm not sure if any accessories sold for the brand name Dremel will work with this. I have used some other brand of burnishing accessories and they worked fine. Be careful and be safe when mixing brand name and off-brand products and parts. - Dust!! Masks!!
