To me, they are ripping off their customers This unit has a much better video and audio than the Ring. Seriously better. Motion detection is much better also. No false notifications like the Ring had. Easy to install. No wires needed. Battery life TBD, but still shows a full charge after a few weeks of use. Easy to charge when it is needed. Just pops out to plug into a USB B mini-cord. App is easy to download. Works great. Connects with Alexa so it will announce what you want through Alexa, or Google or Apple. However, Ring has a very different business model as the user can not check the log if not paying monthly fees. If this is the case, they should give the HW for free with a monthly subscription model. Hate the Ring do that. Surprisingly, Eufy (Anker), they are very diligent to fix and update the application and FW of the unit. So, they DO hear and understand customer's needs and concerns. The installation process was not well polished, but, it was very easy & good. The response (connections and delay) is defiantly better than Ring. AI implemented recognition works well. The video quality and accessing log (stored in local, micro SD card) is almost real-time with a good quality video, yes, you can see clearly. Eufy mobile application is lean, but, more straight forward and easy to use. Based on findings and comparisons, strongly suggest Eufy over Ring. Only thing is that the long-term reliability, I will update as we go. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Work fine…charging design flaw. *by T***D on November 15, 2025* I bought these for my elder parents to make me feel better as well as help them not have to answer their door for just anyone and they can also just talk to people though the camera. They have been working great and I love that I also have access through my phone too. Took a bit to adjust the sensitivity and I have to adjust it based on the time of year and weather. The bright snow makes them pick up EVERY movement. Set up was easy. The biggest downfall(and why I only gave 4 stars) is the design to take them down to charge is HORRIBLE! I live out of town from my parents and they can not get the doorbell down to charge. It’s a tinny tiny wire(for the key) and a very fine opening on the bottom of the doorbell to insert the β€œkey”. They have to have a neighbor come by if I’m not there and he gets very frustrated. It’s VERY HARD TO CHARGE THEM! Design needs addressed!
