Since i was able to listen fairly extensively prior to receiving and placing these, I can say with confidence they reduce the audible booming from theturntabke that can result from big vibration, ie my sub is directly to the left of that stack. While my sub is on a small size Auralex SubDude II (highly recommended if you have a basement or crawlspace), there is some significant vibration at times. The soundstage overall is quieter with these in place.
