I've recently developed an appreciation for all things Schwalbe! Review: Like having an extra hand. FANTASTIC! - I have a bike with 622 sunrims, and I wanted to replace my existing tubes and tires. I bought Continental 700 x 23 tires, and appropriate tubes. Using fairly standard levers, it was easy to remove the existing items. But I fought for 45 minutes trying to get the new tire on (just one side). When I'd done that, it was easy enough to install the inner tube, partially inflated. But putting on the second bead of the tire was very frustrating. It was easy enough to put on about 80% of the tire, but then the remaining 20% was very tight. As I tried to lever the part of the tire at my right hand, it would flip into place, and I'd be happy, only to see that the previously installed bead on the left side had peeled away. Basically, the part of the bead that was still not in place, was moving around the tire as I tried to put it on. So I bought these Schwalbe tire levers. They are fantastic. Their main advantage is that they have a central clip that allows you to leave one of them in place, acting as a third hand, when you're installing the tire. So, as you work your way around the tire, you no longer displace the already installed bead, because the lever is holding it in place.
