Being electric, it's convenient and easy to start, and it's surprisingly lightweight to hold and maneuver. Despite its light weight, it's very powerful and handles both leaves and acorns with ease. I debated a long time about getting a battery powered unit but the highly rated ones all use 40v or 80v batteries and are much more expensive. This was rated highly although you need a long cord for a garage or around the outside of a house. However that is the only disadvantage.This thing is very strong! The airflow clears all the dust and spider webs out of the corners and knocks cans over on the high setting.
