Review: Exceptional little book - The amount of information packed into this is simply amazing. Everything from trademarks, first aid, automotive, welding, physics, calendars, maps, weather, geology, and countless other topics are all covered in this tiny little book(See picture of table of contents)! I saw this on an episode of (I believe) Modern Rogue on youtube and I asked for one from my mother for Christmas and at the same time I bought one for my dad, and then she also bought one for her husband, who then bought one for each of his two sons. Everyone I have showed this book to has gotten one either for themselves or someone else and it is easy to see why. Despite all the contained information being stuff you could fairly easily google, something about having it all in this one little book is totally enthralling and even though I probably would never actually need to use it, I still absolutely love having it. One thing I would recommend if you are getting it for someone whose vision isn't perfect, you may want to also buy something to make it easier to read, in my case I got a handful of these bookmarks that also function as a magnifying glass to give to my dad with his copy of the book. Cannot recommend this highly enough.
Review: What isn't in this book? - What isn't in this book? That might be the shorter review to write. I did find something it is lacking, but I will save that for later. This book has just about everything in it you could ever want to know about construction, design, and engineering. Wanna know about welds? There is a whole section. The speecific gravity and weight per cubic yard of ammonia? That is there. Distribution of blood types? Yep. Area codes? What the first three digits of your SSN reveals (at least through 2011)? Yep. One thing I could not find anything about is IP addressing - specifically IPv4. I did not really expect any IPv6, but IPv4 should be ubiquitous enough by this point that a section under electrical engineering might need to be added to at least list the non-routable IP segments, and quick conversions from binary to decimal. But aside from that, I have yet to find anything lacking in this unique reference book. In fact, it contains some pretty useless information such as the currency conversion rates from May 2024 which are no longer of any value that I can think of. I bought one for home, one for my back pocket, and one to give away. I might just go back and buy a case of them. Yes, the print is small, but not so small that I can't read it. You might need a magnifier, but if you are having problems reading it, it might be best to go see an eye doctor and get your eyeglass prescription renewed.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So much information!
*by T***N on October 16, 2025*

This little book is basically everything you need to know to do virtually anything. I imagine this book will be very valuable if the day should ever come where the internet is for some reason totally unavailable. In fact I prefer it over the internet because so often you find a lot of conjecture on the internet. The amount of usable information packed into this book is truly amazing. Anything from what angle to set your lathe bed up at for making your own screws to the necessary formulas to calculate where Jupiter will be in 3 months and how much fuel and time it would take to get there. If you are a person who builds things, modifies things, or are just curious about how things work, you need this book. It's like a physics professor for your pocket!
