Can I use standard utility blades?** A: Standard blades work perfectly. In my opinion don't waste your money on high end blade replacements. This tool is made for utility. **Q: Is the "safe insert" TSA compliant?** A: Yes, as far as I know the safe insert is TSA compliant. It appears to be a stamped piece of stainless steel with no edge to speak of. However I bought one of these and returned it. Before covid-19 I traveled many weeks out of the year for my job. I am often stopped by TSA due to the tools I carry. I was never able to actually verify the viability of the safe insert because I found the product unacceptable for other reasons and never actually travelled with it. One, it's overpriced. Two, removing the blade takes some practice and is a silly and dangerous design (requiring you to flex the titanium--good luck not swearing while you do it). Three, and lastly, there are far better products on the market. I ended up purchasing a folding scalpel in titanium. Much safer, more reasonable design, and only $20. As this is not a plug I won't provide the website, unless it's fair to do so on Amazon. Message me discreetly for more info. **Q: Can i use this with the stanley 11-921a heavy duty utility blades?** A: Thanks for the question! Can't say for sure with that particular blade, but we've noticed that some heavy duty blades don't work too well with the TPT slide because of the thickness. But any standard blade should do fine. **Q: Where is this made?** A: It's designed in the US and made in China. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent 👌 *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 28 August 2023* Ok let me get this part out the wayTHIS IS EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT IT IS.However, I love it to bits.I’ve carried this every day for over a year and it’s came in handy more times than I can count.It has a very strong pocket clip so you won’t need to worry about it falling out.The first couple times you change the blade is a bit difficult but watch a YouTube video and keep trying you do get used to it just be very careful how your holding things or you’ll end up in A&EThis tool does exactly what it says in the description.I’ve used it in almost all ways it’s designed forPry toolSpannerHex bit handleAnd of course utility bladeNot used it for bottle opening but I’m sure it will manage with ease.It can do all these tasks at a bit of a compromise due to its compact size.I’ve added a little toggle to give me a bit more in the hand when cutting (just feels safer)I have no way to test if it’s truly Ti.But it can take a beating and has a nice weight to it.what more do you really need?In the box you getThe toolA nice carry pouch (possibly leather)And a unique utility bladeI Genuinely love this and never leave home without itExcellent 👌 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great EDC *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 18 May 2021* I carry this all the time, it's a great package opener to have on you all the time. Fits in the watch pocket quite nicely. I removed the clip as it was too tight and just like having a paracord on it to find it in my watch pocket. The flat head at the end is great for tripod tightening, and the cap lifter is a nice tough too, very useful tool. Solid build and quality. comes with a lanyard attached, leather case and spare tool blade. My intention is to use it with a standard utility blade. My only issue with it is the function for removing the blade is quite fiddly and I have to fight it abit to replace the blade.
